Yo Maps’ South African Performance Canceled Due to Late Arrival
Zambian artist Yo Maps had a a history of successful performances in South Africa. However, this time it has not gone quite well. As fans became restless because he was delayed for some time, they threw stones and bottles at the stage. Furthermore, it happened in the middle of his performance, which caused some interruption and endangered the performer and audience.
Reasons for such behaviors by the fans are yet to be determined, however, it is understood that the audience’s anger with Yo Maps which had built over the time he spent outside was one of the triggers of the drama. As a result of that performance being cancelled a lot of people are now trying to understand that I am not late at gigs because of my poor time management.
